Root To Table Dinner

Taste of Blue Ridge Culinary Series

Our first event in the Culinary Trail Series will be a “Root to Table” dinner at Hillbrook Inn’s Redbook Restaurant in Charles Town, West Virginia. The evening includes a five-course dinner where you get the chance to meet and interact with the chefs that designed each course. Our goal is to provide you with an unforgettable personal experience and the chance to see first-hand how our community of farmers and restaurants collaborates for the love of good food. In addition to a fantastic meal, you’ll get to know the Taste of Blue Ridge chefs and community partners as they present and share in your dining experience.

We will gather at a family style table where you can enjoy the feeling of a restaurant without walls, experiencing the freshest of flavors while you breathe in the fresh air. The chefs will harvest herbs right from the property, while also partnering with farmers and growers from the surrounding area. Additionally, we’ll bring the farm stand to you by offering local produce for sale, as well as other items our chefs love.

Doors open at 6:00 pm for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Dinner is served at 7:00 pm.
Cost $95.00 per person, plus tax and 20% gratuity

Dress Code: The dress code is casual. We want everyone to be relaxed and enjoy a truly authentic experience. This is an outdoor event so be prepared with appropriate shoes. No big Heels, ladies!

Seating Arrangements: Our authentic root-to-table dining experience is sure to spark conversation. You’ll get the chance to tantalize your taste buds while meeting new friends at our family-style farm table. Seating is limited and reservations must be made at least seven days in advance.

Cancellation Policy: Payment information is taken at the time of booking. Due to our size and the unique nature of each of our events, cancellations affect us greatly. We must receive notice of a cancellation no less than one week prior to the event for credit of your payment.

What happens if it rains?

In the event of inclement weather, seating will be relocated indoors. No refunds will be made…instead, we will continue the party inside!

Do you take dietary requests?

Due to the design and collaboration of the menu, we cannot make adjustments to any courses. If you have a severe allergy, please notify us in advance so that we can prepare properly and efficiently.

Can I bring my kids?

Children are welcome at the same ticket price. We do not offer a children’s menu nor do we offer activities. Our dining events promote an adult atmosphere.

Can I bring my own beverages to enjoy with the meal?

Due to the liquor license requirements held by the Redbook Restaurant, alcoholic beverages must be purchased on-site. Iced tea and water will be offered free of charge. The Redbook Restaurant at Hillbrook Inn & Spa offers a full bar. We will be featuring special cocktails, local wines, specialty items from a local distillery, and craft beers.
